Revit Control Camera view with overhead camera tracker

This is a longshot but what the heck... Way back at Autodesk University 2014- 2015ish there was a exhibitor who had developed an addin that worked like this:

A floor plan is printed or projected on a table. An overhead webcam was mounted above the plan, looking down at the plan. It picked up a marker that could be moved around the plan. That marker controlled the Revit camera on the screen (or maybe the addin camera) and allowed you to navigate and view the model in realtime by moving the marker around. Does anyone else remember this or have information about it? Or if not the addin, any leads about the techniques used. I think this could probably be done in Unity but wondering if there is any way to do it in or at least closer to Revit.

    Thanks,
    Michael

The minimap feature in Enscape (if you have it) practically does that anyway - but in terms a physically* interactive widget, ala the workstation they had at one the Adesk offices? I remember, but haven't a clue where I'd start - short of "just" a large format touchscreen (will bet that widget gets lost!)

*to be we want "touch(y)" things like that now/ ever again? We're re-opening investigating use of QR for this kind of stuff (teleports to panoramas etc)

Thanks. We do use Enscape and the map is very good. We're exploring ways to involve clients into the design process and we've had a lot of success with physical elements. Many non designers seem to have problems with technology. I've seen some good presentations of others doing similar things. I know that right now we're all apart and everything is virtual but I'd like to plan for a return to normally one day (at least hope for). This low tech version just made FastCompany: LINK

I know plenty of designers that have problems with technology
