Hello,
As you know, at the moment there is a shortage of graphic cards. There is no longer an NVIDIA 2060 or 3060 that works well with Revit.
Since I have to order some computers soon, I thought I would order with the hardware available from my supplier and then put a better graphics card in later.
But what can be the minimum configuration for Revit?
Currently my vendor has GeForce GT 710 (1GB), Radeon R7 240 (2GB) available. Can these cards run Revit while waiting for more powerful models?
I'm talking about files of about 200MB, buildings of 10,000m².
Thank you for your precious advice in these difficult times.
I have found GT 1030's to work quite well and their usually available. You might not have to upgrade later..
The GT 1030 would probably be the lowest I would go for a good experience. Personally the lowest spec I have used in a Revit system was the GTX 1660 Super which blew the client away. They had large stadiums and gold courses that couldn't bog it down in Revit or Navisworks.
