Slope discrepancy

Hallo world,

I really hope I'm missing something simple, but googling hasn't turned anything up....

I have a roof that I've set to 4"/12" and when putting the slope dim on it I get a 3"/12"...why would this be?

I'll add that a manual measure turns up the proper 4" slope....evermore perplexing

Use the Tab key to "cycle" to the roof face, the first selection is the valley/ridge slope (the nearest edge to your cursor when hovering).
