Hello guys. I just created a family (triangular shape) truss. It is all fine when I tested in blank project, but when I imported that in my working project, suddenly members on top chord after unpinning are not showing shape handles when I try to stretch them to cope them with beam on bottom chord, only point. In blank project it was all fine, shape handles on same position appeared after unpinning
have you tried disallow join on the individual beams?
Yup. Nothing happens. Tried making those 2 chords as strong reference as well, nothing. I just don't get it. In blank model they're showing up, in other I'm unable to see them and that happens only on top chord..Zitat von elton williams
Hi,
Theproblem may be with the structural framing family and not the truss. Try to replace the suspect family with a verified one.
It is the same as bottom chord in model. Same beam element. It is even default from revit base. If you meant on changing that element
Then maybe you applied one of the modifiers on the Steel tab? If so, then the structural framing has been converted to the steel fabrication shape.
