im using geberit mapress pipe
im putting coupling at 60 cm above the floor
in the levels above i want the coupling to be at same place - 60 cm above floor
im copying the coupling and paste it to selected levels but it pasting without splitting the pipe. it’s overlapping into the pipe.
there is a solution for this?
another question
when im copying the coupling from level 1 to level 2 the reference level stays at both of them “level 1” instead of changing the coupling at level 2 to be at level 2 reference.
1. Use the Split Element, Create Similar or Pipe Fitting to insert a coupling.
2. In Revit 2020, everything works fine: the fitting is assigned to the nearest level if you copy, or inherits the pipe or duct level if inserted.
1. Now Im using split element and create similar but this process is taking too much time for something that repeat itself so much in my work. i thought may a better way.
2. im using 2021 and when im create similar to the coupling and put in on the pipe the reference level is the first floor
1. Maybe it's time to think about automation with Dynamo.
2. The fitting takes the level from the pipe into which it is inserted.
I definitely needs to learn dynamo
thanks for your help
