not sure if this thread is still working but I'll try it here


Our office is a complete mess in the organization of revit families, and we really need to rename them all and classify them a bit. For that, I've downloaded the free trial for the family browser. I've successfully installed it but I'm trying to change the names of my families from one big project, and an error message keeps popping up, it doesn't let me do anything.
The error says
'Microsoft .NET Framework
Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you clock continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.
Starting a transaction from an external application running outside of API context is not allowed.'


I'm using version 2014, how can I fix this?Is it something coming from using the trial version?
