Ipad Design Review "Fly Through" Question

    Hi.
For anyone familiar with the DR app I have a question. When you open one if the apps sample files, the house in this case, you can "fly" through it. (go inside, check it all out), like Navis does. When I exported a project and uploaded it and opened it on my Ipad, I dont get the "fly" through feature. When i go to zoom in, it just keeps zooming in on an object. Does anyone know why it does this? Does it have to be exported to dwfx a certain way/certain settings?

Also, is there even a better way to review 3D models on an ipad? Ive just started researching Bentleys viewer, however when I installed the plug in for revit, it wont let me export to the file type, gives me errors.

    Anyway, thanks for any help!

I have the exact same question. I can't remember if I started a thread on here or not. I know I meant to...

I totally would, but it's not needed. It does the same thing on a computer, or smart phone, or tablet. I KNOW you have a computer.

I just can't wait for the 3rd gen iPad update. Design Review on the iPad retina display is going to be stunning. Classic example of where digital paper resolution really will make a huge difference.

Anyway, sorry for the hijack. I too hope someone comes up with the answer on how to export a fly-through enabled model.

Perhaps the "example" file was showing a "Panoramic View rendering" made in Revit via Render to Cloud, posted on 360, and viewed via the i-pad?

I don't think a "real-time" walkthru tool exists in Design Review, unless it's brand new in DR 2013.

I've got one, it's absolutely beautiful. Too bad DR has dreadful controls on the iPad. As for zooming in thru the elements I believe you have to save a perspective view to get this

d'oh. and I didn't even specify an iPad. Android would have been just fine...
