I need Best Practice Advice for sharing the model with consultants

Currrently we will use our ftp to post the model for our consultants.
What is 'Best Practice' when preparing the model.rvt for sharing with consultants? Should I purge all families, sheets, views,....what should I jettison and what should I keep?

Thanks Aaron, I'll send out as is,...I did however, create an additional title block without stamps, then purged the title block with stamps from the file to be posted.

"Stamps" as in company titleblocks? To prevent others printing drawings from the model I presume?

I'd assume that its the security of having the architects stamp floating around, possible even with a signature, which is why I link it in once and copy to selected sheets, then after printing and making sure that everything is fine, I can manage links and remove.

We also have our stamps (and some digital signatures) in our title block. Purging them all out then uploading the file would be the best idea. Don't want those stamps circulating... i've forgotten to purge them out of cad files before...:s

I set up a yes/no parameter for 3 different architects stamps using an annotation family, inserted in the title block, one over the top of the other. Visibility is controlled per sheet by checking or unchecking a box in the properties pallet in the catagory of 'Other'

Why worry about the seal, as long as it doesn't have a digital signature? I can easily recreate your seal from a hard copy if I really wanted it. The seal is worthless without the signature.

I use image files of the stamps with signatures.
Get it lined up on one titleblock, copy and then paste using "aligned to selected views" and select all the sheets I want.
    Pdf the set.
Then use Manage images and delete the image.

Case put out a free add-in that will delete your sheets, views and revit links (I think it removes the cad links as well)
